EXCELLENT CHOCOLATE

I love how alter ego wraps their chocolate in foil-- basically the chocolate is not wrapped in any plastic. The mint flavor comes through very well, and this chocolate does not taste better at all. If you want to pair chocolates, try eating mint blackout first, then the brown butter. You will not be disappointed.

A fresh twist on a daily chocolate habit

I eat 85-90% Cacao Alter Eco chocolate every day. The 85% blackout is my go to but when I want to mix it up a bit I go for the mint. It tastes great, a bit like candy cain at Christmas, and they did a good job not killing it with the mint. There is more of a “bite” and a fine grain texture that I tend to chew more so then let it melt in my mouth. I find its good quality, balance, texture and simple ingredients enjoyable to eat. It will be a staple in my Alter Eco lineup for the long haul.
